Discernment where are thou?

Discernment is the ability to determine between right and wrong. When it comes to our walk with Christ, it is of utmost importance that whenever we have a decision to make, we ought to seek Jesus FIRST, our guidance counselor.

There have been many times we have failed to do the right thing and have paid the consequences for our actions. Going through those consequential phases is not always a beautiful picture emotionally or mentally. Whenever we are presented with a dilemma, an opportunity, or an offer, we ought to ask God first, for his will to be done right there in that particular moment. Let us not act upon our own limited intelligence to make those decisions that would later causes damages in our lives. Us, women tend to rely on our emotions heavily which can deter our ability to be patient and wait on the Lord’s answer. Ladies, set your emotion aside and rely on the Holy Spirit.

You might ask yourself that important question like Job did in chapter twenty eight verse twelve: ‘’ But do people know where to find wisdom? Where can they find understanding?’’

We must ask God for wisdom to discern so we can make most of our decisions based on God’s response. The Lord will give you those spiritual possessions quicker than he would give you material possessions.

In the twelfth chapter of the book of Job, the godly man stated ‘’But true wisdom and power are found in God; counsel and understanding are his. ‘’ (Job 12:13)

Beloved, ask and you shall receive. If you lack wisdom, and you want to me more Christ-like, ASK JESUS.

Proverbs 2:3 ‘’ Cry out for insight, and ask for understanding.’’

I advise you to seek the counsel of Jesus and those of godly mentors before you make any decisions. Don’t be too quick to do it, sleep on it, pray about it, fast; and do not let people pressure you to make any decisions that require more time than others. Wait on the Lord’s answer and act accordingly.

I pray that the Lord open your mind to understand the scriptures and acquire wisdom.

Isaiah 11: 3 ‘’He will delight in obeying the Lord. He will not judge by appearance nor make a decision based on hearsay. ‘’

You are beautiful,
